Hello, Iām Elisa.
I have spent most of my life here in the Denver Metro area and like to think at this point I can call myself a native. Despite living near the mountains, I have a real soft spot for the ocean and can spend hours sitting on the beach watching the mystery and power of the waves. On my off days I love a good ol slow morning, breakfast burritos, ted lasso, and quality time with my husband and son.
I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my bachelors degree in psychology at Weber State University and my Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary. In a field that is constantly evolving and changing I am passionate about being a continual learner. I conduct much of therapy from narrative, person-centered, and attachment-based approaches. I believe that the heart of therapy is developing a safe and secure attachment with another human and always hope to implement this in my practice. We can only be human together.
